Many consumers spend copious amounts of money on hair dye as most of us search for the perfect colour to suit our skin tone. We spend hours and hours researching the perfect colour to paint our homes and some of us even hire professionals to tell us what colours should dominate our wardrobes. However, how many of us give serious thought as to the colour of our accessories?
When it comes to jewellery, shoes and handbags, most of us are pretty ill informed when it comes to which colours suit which skin types and so we end up purchasing items that can often be unflattering. Accessories should count - there's nothing worse than seeing someone try to work a yellow necklace only to end up looking sallow, or carrying a beige handbag which makes them look 'washed out'.
We must all consider our skin tones when purchasing something that we're going to wear - there aren't strict rules as such but it'll just ensure that whatever you buy will make you look fabulous...and isn't that the point of fashion?
